Educational Buildings Authority

- Decree No. 448 of 1988 establishing the General Authority for Educational Buildings was issued by the President of the Republic and is considered to be one of the bodies that is based on a facility of a special nature.

- The National Investment Bank has financed and monitored the investments of the Educational Buildings Authority. The amount of funding during the period from 2014 to 2017 is estimated at LE 7.2 billion.

- The development of the educational buildings and the development of standards and specifications of its design and determination of the system and rules of construction in the light of a scientific plan, the development included about 53.6 thousand schools (government / private) of about 454 thousand chapters and serves about 21.5 million students (according to the census of 2017/2018) , Distributed to different educational stages.
